01

Repairs

Can an oceanfront slider be repaired instead of replaced?

Usually. If the frame and glass are sound, new stainless rollers, a track cap and an adjustment cost far less than a new door.

Why is my beach-house door so hard to open?

Sand in the track, rusted rollers or both. Clean the track first; if it’s still heavy, the rollers need replacing.

What’s the squealing when I open the door?

Usually rusted rollers that no longer turn, so the panel drags across the rail.

My balcony door came off its track. What should I do?

Don’t lift it. Panels are heavy, and on a balcony that’s dangerous. Keep clear and call us.

Do you use stainless parts?

Yes, wherever they fit your door. Stainless rollers and caps last much longer in salt air.

Can you fix the screen door as well?

Yes. Screen rollers, latches and rescreening, including heavy-duty and pet screen.

What door brands do you repair?

Most aluminum, vinyl and impact sliders used in coastal Flagler County homes and condos.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept cash, check and all major cards.

What’s covered by the warranty?

Parts and labor, for 6-month. If the repair fails, we come back free.

Oceanfront & rentals

Why do doors on A1A wear out so fast?

Salt spray corrodes steel rollers and locks, and blown sand grinds the track. Stainless parts and regular cleaning help a lot.

Do you repair condo balcony doors?

Yes, from small complexes to larger buildings, and we can do several units in one visit.

Can you fix doors in my vacation rental between guests?

Yes. Send us your turnover times and we’ll fit around them. A cleaner or manager can let us in.

Do you work with HOAs and property managers?

Yes. We coordinate access, photograph each door and invoice per unit.

Which areas do you cover?

Flagler Beach and the coast, including Flagler Beach, A1A oceanfront, Beverly Beach, Marineland, Painters Hill, Hammock Dunes, plus Palm Coast, Ormond-by-the-Sea, Espanola, Korona.

How should I prep sliders before a storm?

Close and lock every panel, clear the track so it seals, and put up shutters if you have them. Call us afterward if anything leaks or sticks.

04

Booking

How soon can you get to Flagler Beach?

Most coastal visits land within the week, often sooner. Call or text for the first slot.

How long does a repair usually take?

One to two hours for most roller, lock and seal work. Glass may need another visit.

Does someone have to be at the property?

Someone has to open the door for us and approve the quote. A manager or cleaner is fine for rentals.

Do photos help before the visit?

Yes. A picture of the rollers, the track or the lock tells us which parts to pack.

Can I get a call at a specific time?

Yes. Pick a time in the call-back box and we’ll ring then.

Beach care

How do I stop sand building up in the track?

Keep mats on both sides, rinse feet before coming in, and vacuum the track weekly in summer.

How should I clean a track near the ocean?

Vacuum the sand, wipe the rail with fresh water to remove salt, dry it and add a little dry silicone.

Is grease or oil good for beach doors?

No. It traps sand and makes things worse. Use dry silicone spray only.

How long do rollers last at the beach?

Standard steel ones can rust out in a few years. Stainless rollers last much longer.

Can I adjust a door that drags?

Sometimes. Screws near the bottom corners raise the rollers. If they’re rusted solid, the rollers need replacing.
